Sunday 31 August at 5.00-6.00 pm
The Quaker Meeting House, 21 Thorpe Road,

Preceded by an Open Garden afternoon at the Meeting House from 2.00pm, affording the chance to Walk or sit in the peace of the garden.

We invite you to savour the last of the Summer afternoons with us, enjoying tea and music and the welcome, peace and hospitality offered by the Peterborough Brethren.
A flight of bumble bees, a flit of iridescent butterflies and a duet for flowers lend a fresh, Summery air to the Concert, which also includes pieces by Mozart and Faure. The rest of the programme will be a joyful surprise on the day!…

This Concert is organized by Kate Risdon, creator of White Feathers Music and is Held at the Meeting House by permission of Peterborough Quaker Meeting.
We will be joined by the White Feathers Music Sapling Ensemble of budding flute players, newly-cultivated, for whom your attendance and support would be most welcomed.

Light refreshments provided.

There is no charge for entry to the garden but donations towards its upkeep would be welcome.

Admission to the Concert is free, with a retiring collection.

Kate risdon, Patrick Williams and Deirdre Culloty all work as professional flute players and flute teachers.

Rebekah Baugh is an accomplished student, considering studying Music at University.

Father Bruce Burbidge allies his exceptional musicality and pianistic skill with his vocation as a Catholic priest.
